Título VII. Actas notariales

The Notary, in the acts in which he intervenes by provision of law or at the request of a party, shall draw up notarial records in which he shall record the facts he witnesses, and circumstances known to him.

The Notary shall record in the notarial record: the place, date and time of the proceeding; the name of the person who has requested him; the names of the persons who also intervene in the act; the detailed account of the proceeding; and the value and order number of the stamped paper on which the sheets preceding the last one are drawn up.

In protests, inventories and judicial proceedings, he shall observe the special provisions determined by law for each case, without the attendance of witnesses being mandatory.

The Notary shall number, seal and sign all sheets of the notarial record.
