Título Decimoséptimo. De las Atribuciones de la Corte Suprema de Justicia en Materia Laboral

In addition to the powers set forth in other laws or in this Code, the Supreme Court of Justice as the hierarchically superior Tribunal, in labor matters shall have the following:

a)To constantly oversee the progress and functioning of the Labor and Social Welfare Tribunals, ordering the removals or dismissals that must be made, as appropriate;

b)To seek the unification of the criterion of said tribunals, for which purpose it shall promote periodic discussions among their holders;

c)To compile the judgments of the Labor and Social Welfare Tribunals, for the purpose of creating and unifying the precedents thereof;

d)To keep the necessary statistics of the Labor and Social Welfare Tribunals;

e)To examine, in accordance with the provisions of the preceding title, the case files in which it has a complaint of delays in their processing and to order the corresponding measures;

f)To propose to the Congress of the Republic the reforms to the labor laws that it considers necessary, either on its own initiative or at the request of any of the holders of the Labor and Social Welfare Tribunals;

g)To publish in the gazette of the tribunals the final judgments rendered by the Labor and Social Welfare Tribunals, which due to their technical-legal importance it considers advisable to disclose.
