Título Decimoctavo. Disposiciones Finales

The Executive Branch, within a maximum time limit of two years, counted from the date this Law enters into force, must issue the regulations expressly provided for in the text of the Labor Code.

Labor proceedings, of whatever nature, that are pending upon the entry into force of this Law, shall be continued and concluded, both with regard to the procedures to be followed and the substantive provisions to be applied, in accordance with the rules that were in force on the date of their commencement.

In all provisions of the Labor Code where the expressions “Ministry of Economy and Labor” and “Civil Guard” appear, said expressions shall be substituted with “Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare” and “National Police”, respectively.

Articles 432, 433, 434 and 435 of Decree 330 of the Congress of the Republic, amended by Presidential Decree 570, are repealed, as well as the other provisions expressly set forth in the text of this law and those that conflict with its compliance.

This law shall enter into force two months after its publication in the Diario Oficial.
