On its own initiative or at the request of a party, tracings, reliefs, reproductions and photographs of objects, documents and places may be ordered.

It is also permitted, in order to establish whether an event can or cannot occur in a particular manner, to proceed to its reconstruction. If the judge deems it necessary, its recording in photographic or cinematographic form may be carried out.

Where it is conducive to the evidence, the obtaining of X-rays, radioscopies, hematological, bacteriological or other analyses may also be ordered and, in general, any experiments or scientific tests.

With their authenticity certified by the secretary of the Tribunal or by a notary, the parties may submit photographs and copies thereof, cinematographic films and any other photographic and similar productions; dactyloscopic and phonographic records; stenographic versions, provided that the translation thereof is attached and the system employed is stated; and any other scientifically recognized means.

Telegraphic, radiographic, cablegraphic and telephonic communications may also be submitted, provided that the provisions of the respective laws and regulations have been observed.

The judge, should he deem it necessary for the assessment of this evidence, may require the opinion of experts.

The expenses caused by the production of scientific means of evidence shall be borne by whoever proposes them.
