Article 187Amended Clarification and Amplification

When the terms of a decision are obscure, ambiguous or contradictory, clarification thereof may be requested.

If resolution of any of the points to which the matter relates has been omitted, amplification thereof may be requested.

Article 188 On Revocation

Against the final decisions issued by the offices of the Register of Citizens or the delegations thereof, an application for revocation may be filed in writing before the same public official who issued the challenged decision and within the three days following the date of the last notification.

Article 189Amended On the Processing of the Application for Revocation

If the application for revocation was filed before the public official who issued the decision, he shall forward it to the Director of the Register of Citizens within a time limit of forty-eight hours.

The decisions, agreements and acts that the Supreme Electoral Tribunal issues or executes may be subject to constitutional relief (amparo) in the cases provided for in the constitutional law on the matter.
